Lucan Sarsfield’s Club Notes 

 

GAA National Club Draw 

It is the time of year again for the GAA National Club Draw.  Tickets for the draw cost €15 per ticket. All proceeds from the draw are allocated to the club selling the tickets.   

This year we are again incentivising the sale of tickets. The Adult and Juvenile teams who sell the most tickets will get allocated the monies they raise up to a max value of €1K. Teams can sell their tickets online through the QR code on our poster or the link below, just select your desired team in the drop-down menu; https://lucansarsfields.clubzap.com/products/24009/purchases/new  

 

In the adult section the Senior-Inter Camogie are in first place ahead of the Junior Footballers in second. The U11 Girls are leading the sales in the juvenile section, followed by the U8 Boys. Make sure to get selling your tickets, all money raised will help improve our club while the winning teams will also earn themselves their own money. The deadline for sales is fast approaching, the last day to sell and return physical tickets to the club is tomorrow the 6th of March – tickets cannot be accepted past this time! 

 

 

Lotto 

We had no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €1,800. The Numbers were 1, 12, 15, 16. Lucky dip’s go to Bridie Burke, Estelle Carr, Willie O'Neill, Alan McCarthy, John Condon. 

This week’s Lotto will be for a jackpot of €2,200. This draw is sponsored by Dual Printing LTD. 

 

Healthy Clubs 

This Our healthy club committee would like to encourage our members and supporters to donate blood. There will be a blood drive in Lucan Community College on the 12th of March from 5pm-8:30pm. County 

Inter county action is back in full swing as always, we encourage our members to get out and support the Dubs as well as our club teams as much as possible. We had eight Lucan players representing the club last weekend with the Dublin seniors; Chris, John, Aoife, Amy, Emma, Abby, Sophie and Siobhán as well as many other players representing us at juvenile and minor levels. A special mention to Erin Hynes who represented the Dublin U16B Camogie team and scored her first intercounty goal. Hopefully the first of many, well done Erin!
