Membership Renewal
We’re kicking off the 2025 membership renewal season here at Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club! Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st, so let’s get everyone set up for another great year.
Important reminders:
- All adult players, managers, mentors, and committee members need to be full members to stay registered with the GAA, Camogie Association, or LGFA.
- Youth players must have a current membership too, so they’re covered by the injury fund to train and play.
- All players need to be registered on Foireann by March 31st to stay eligible!
For families with both male and female players, you might notice a slight delay in the Foireann confirmation email—don’t worry, that’s normal!

Awards Night
OWe had a very successful adult awards night last weekend. A huge congratulations to Noel Buggie who joins our hall of fame, Christy Boylan who was awarded Club Person of the Year and the Junior C Camogie team who won Adult Management of the year. Congratulations to all our players on winning their awards. Well done to Ellen Dunphy (Senior Camogie), Ben Coffey (Senior Hurling), Alan Murphy (Senior Football) and Emma McGivney (Inter Ladies Football) who picked up the silverware for our first four teams. Senior Football Fundraising Race Night
Our senior footballers are having a fundraising race night this Saturday the 1st of Feb at 8pm in the club. All support welcome!
Donate a Dress
Our Donate a Dress Fundraiser will be hosted this Friday 31st of January in the club at 8pm. Thank you to everyone who has kindly donated so many beautiful things. Tickets are still on sale for the event and are €5 including the glass of bubbly! They can be purchased on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at the club cafe or from Tracey 087-9735665. There will be a pop-up shop on Saturday in the changing rooms from 10am-1pm.

Our club could not function without the work of volunteers but there are always more jobs to be done. No contribution is too small, if you are in any position to help in the following list of volunteer activities, please contact Mary on 087 746 9143

Lotto
We had no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €1,000. The Numbers were 2, 17, 21, 23. Lucky dip’s go to Dara Keher, Aimee Clyne, Mary Reynolds, O'Lanagain Family, Stephen Garrbutt.
This week’s Lotto will be for a jackpot of €1,400. This draw is sponsored by O’Grady’s Hearing Care Services.
