Ladies Intermediate Football Final
Hard luck to our Intermediate Ladies Footballers, who left absolutely everything on the field today last Saturday but came up against a brilliant Ballinteer St John’s side.
The result didn’t go our way, but the girls can be hugely proud of their championship campaign and the effort, commitment and togetherness they’ve shown throughout the year.
A massive thank you to everyone who travelled out to St Margaret’s and got behind the team today. Your support was greatly appreciated.
These girls will be back next year better than ever and we look forward to another great championship campaign!! 💚🖤

Hurling Championship
It’s a massive weekend of championship hurling for Lucan Sarsfields, with both our Intermediate and Senior hurlers competing in county semi-finals.
The action gets underway on Saturday evening, when our Intermediate hurlers take to the field looking to book their place in the championship final. The lads have built up some excellent momentum as the championship has progressed and come into the semi-final after a strong campaign through the group stages.
There has been plenty of character shown along the way, including hard-fought victories in the closing stages of the group campaign. They now face Setanta with a place in the Premier Intermediate Championship Final at stake.
Then on Sunday, all roads lead to Parnell Park for the big one 💚🖤
Our Senior hurlers contest the Senior Championship Semi-Final at 4pm, with Kilmacud Crokes standing between Lucan and a place in the county final for the second year running.
The side have been trending very nicely as the championship has developed, producing some excellent hurling and building real momentum at exactly the right time of the season. They now face their biggest test yet, with a place in the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship Final on the line — and the chance to move one step closer to the promised land!
These are the weekends everyone in the club wants to be involved in. Two adult hurling teams competing at the business end of their respective championships is a fantastic achievement for the players, management teams and everyone involved in Lucan hurling.
But now they need the club behind them.
We’re calling on all Lucan supporters to get behind both teams this weekend, with a big crowd needed both on Saturday evening and in Parnell Park on Sunday at 4pm for our Senior semi-final.
Best of luck to both teams and management. 💚🖤
