Ireland is set to experience a very deep partial solar eclipse, with around 94% coverage in Dublin. This is the first eclipse of its kind visible in our part of the world since 1930 — and it is not expected to happen again until 2090! ✨

🕕 Begins at approximately 6:13 pm
🌒 Maximum coverage around 7:10 pm
🌅 Ends just after 8:00 pm
🏐 For matches and training today:
If possible, please avoid throw-ins and training drills between 6:45 pm and 7:30 pm. A short delay or pause around maximum coverage may be a good idea.
Referees and mentors are asked to let players and parents know in advance. If players or spectators become distracted, please pause play or training until everyone is focused again.
🕶️ Most importantly — protect your eyes!
Never look directly at the Sun without certified eclipse glasses. Ordinary sunglasses are not safe.
