Feile Weekend
Lucan Sarsfields Féile Weekend Report
Lucan Sarsfields produced a superb all-round team display to claim the U15 Féile Division 2 title, edging past St. Jude’s in an exciting final that had plenty of scores and no shortage of intensity. The Lucan lads showed real composure when it mattered most, with a sharp attacking return of 3-09 proving enough to see off a determined St. Jude’s side who kept battling to the finish.
The victory was built on a strong squad performance, with players working tirelessly across the pitch and showing great hunger in attack and discipline in defence. Having already beaten St. Sylvester’s in the semi-final, Lucan carried that momentum into the final and delivered when the pressure was on.
This was a memorable campaign and a well-earned trophy for a talented group who showed great character, teamwork and spirit throughout the day. Well done to all the players and management involved in bringing the cup home to Lucan.
We’re not done yet with Féile action… not even close 🔥

Let’s get a big home crowd up the club to support the girls, soak up the atmosphere, and cheer on our teams on what promises to be a brilliant weekend of camogie. 💚🖤

Senior Football
The Senior Footballers picked up a valuable three points across two games over the past few days, maintaining strong momentum in the league.
A hard-fought encounter away to Skerries Harps on Saturday evening saw the sides finish level after a competitive and evenly matched contest. Lucan showed great resilience throughout, responding well to periods of pressure and ensuring they came away with a deserved share of the spoils.
Attention quickly turned to Tuesday evening’s clash with Ballymun Kickhams, where the lads delivered a determined performance to secure a crucial one-point victory. In a tight and intense game, Lucan showed composure when it mattered most, edging ahead and defending resolutely to see it out against the top-of-the-table side.
The result lifts the team onto 6 points in the table, leaving them just three points off top spot and firmly in the mix as the league campaign gathers pace.
