Our U15C Ladies Footballers picked up their first league win of the season in fine style this afternoon, as they overcame Thomas Davis B on a sunny day for football in Lucan.

Right from the first whistle, Lucan showed real intent, dominating possession and taking some excellent early scores that set the tone for the game. The teamwork and work rate across the pitch were outstanding, with the defensive unit standing strong and repeatedly turning over possession to launch counterattacks.

The strength and determination shown by the backs provided the perfect foundation for the forwards to flourish, leading to a series of well-taken goals and points that reflected the team’s efforts and skill.

Lucan maintained their focus right to the final whistle, securing a well-deserved victory.

The Lucan Sarsfield's Annual Fundraising Golf Classic will take place at Lucan Golf Club on Friday, 19th June 2026.   A four person team is €450 which includes a round of golf, a goodie bag and meal. Great prizes on the day for Best Team Score, Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive, Hole-in-One, 2’s Competition and Putting Green Competition
