We would like to say a massive congratulations to Dublin Ladies Football Team on their All-Ireland Championship victory! We as a club are bursting with pride—not just for the county win, but for the amazing contributions of our own. 

 

️Abby was involved in her fourth All Ireland win, second starting in the nets—at just 23 years old! A remarkable achievement from someone who continues to set the bar so high for future generations in the club. 

 

Sophie was named Player of the Match in the Leinster Final and came on to make her mark once again in the All-Ireland final—all in her first year on the panel. 

 

️Siobhán, only just out of minor football at age 19 on the panel for this year’s winning campaign— a huge talent and no doubt this experience will stand to her breaking into the starting 15 in coming years 

 

And of course, none of it would be complete without the leadership of Paul Casey, who not only won an All-Ireland as a player but now adds an All-Ireland as manager in his first year at the helm. Having spent the last years coaching this group in the background, Paul has brought this team to the summit—and no doubt we’ll see him back around the club coaching the U8 boys soon! 

 

You’ve made your club, your families, and your county incredibly proud. We can’t wait to welcome you all back to Lucan—with the Brendan Martin Cup in hand! 

 

Football 

Our senior footballers, proudly supported by McCoys Motors have their first championship outing this Saturday. They face Thomas Davis in O’Toole Park, throwing in at 15:30.
