Lucan Sarsfields Club Notes 

The final game of the Club’s 25 Card Drive for the 2024/2025 season took place last Friday night 9th May 2025 with an accumulator of €500 on offer. Congratulations to the winner, John O’Mahony, with a total of 64 games and to the runner-up, John Kelly, with a total of 62 games. Congratulations to Bernard Egan who won a hamper and to the other raffle prize winners. Many thanks to all 25 players who competed over the season for their support of this Club event – we would love to see more players joining when play resumes on Friday 10 th October 2025.

Our Annual Golf Classic is now booked out with 64 four balls entered on the day! We will be creating a waiting list, contact Maggie or Pat. If you would like to support the event by donating raffle prizes or sponsoring a tee box please get in touch!

Summer Camps 

Our summer camps and campa samhraidh trí ghaeilge are open for registration, but spaces are filling up fast. Open to all boys and girls starting primary school in September or just finishing primary school this year. We welcome both members and non members of all abilities. All our camps are dual football and camogie/hurling, hurls and helmets can be provided if needed. This year alongside our camp jersey each child attending will also receive a Lucan Sarsfields Camp sliotar! We would like to thank Keane Windows for their continued support of our camps. There was no winner of our lotto jackpot of €2,600. The Numbers were 1, 7, 17 & 26. Lucky dip’s go to the Clandillon Family, Orla Crowley, Nikita Ryan, Christina O’Grady and Linda Murphy. This week’s Lotto will be for a jackpot of €3,000. This draw is sponsored by Dual Printing LTD.

Congratulations to Siobhán, Abby, Sophie & Paul on their Leinster Final win on Sunday. A proud day for the club to have four people involved. A huge well done to Sophie McIntyre who was named player of the match. A massive achievement for Sophie at only 20 years old in her debut year and first senior final. Hopefully the start of a successful career!
